Farmsense was founded in 1991 to supply British farmers with nutritional alternatives to traditional antibiotics. The well-known and often over used term “prevention is better than cure” has never rung more true than today.
However, in 1991 we were pioneers in the business, considered very “niche” and given little hope of survival. Today, as the founding business we are part of the Tangerine Group headquartered in Lytham, Lancashire with two manufacturing plants in Lancashire and Herefordshire. Farmsense has contributed significantly to the growth of the Group which today is one of the fastest growing privately owned businesses in its sector. With companies in the veterinary, equine and agricultural sectors the group's diversity is its strength and this is particularly pertinent when considering the volatility of today's agricultural sector.
